Whole Melt Extracts is one of the most imitated names in cannabis concentrates. Copied boxes, borrowed strain names, and lookalike jars circulate widely, and more than a dozen websites present themselves as sellers of our products. Some are resellers. Many are outright counterfeits. Here’s how to tell the difference — wherever you’re shopping.
1. The batch code returns nothing. Every genuine Whole Melts unit carries a unique code tied to its own third-party lab report. Enter it on our verification page and you’ll see the strain, pack date, and Certificate of Analysis for that exact batch. No result means the product didn’t come from us, no matter how convincing the packaging looks. This is the single most reliable test there is.
2. The price is far below market. Real solventless extract has a real cost. Live rosin in particular is labour-intensive and low-yield. When a listing is priced well under everyone else, that discount is usually paying for the fact that there’s no testing, no quality control, and often no real extract behind it.
3. The edition doesn’t exist. Counterfeiters invent strain names and “limited editions” that were never part of our catalogue. If you can’t find it in our official product list, we didn’t make it.
4. The seal is broken, doubled, or missing. Tamper-evident seals should be intact and singular. A peeled, re-applied, or doubled seal means the package was opened after it left production — which means you have no idea what’s inside now.
5. There’s no COA, or one COA for everything. A single lab report covering an entire product line is not batch testing. Genuine testing is per batch. Ask which batch a report belongs to; a real seller can tell you instantly.
6. Payment is untraceable only. Sellers who accept only payment methods with no recourse have chosen them for a reason.
If you’ve already bought something you suspect is fake: stop using it. Untested concentrate can carry residual solvents, pesticides, or heavy metals — exactly what lab screening exists to catch. Send us the code and where you bought it through our contact page; we use every report to pursue takedowns.
